Supporting the digital transition in Zakarpattia by adopting best practices of the European Union.
2025-1.2.1-HU-RIZONT-2025-00047
The initiative aims to stimulate and strengthen the digital transition of the Zakarpattia region by adapting best practices that have already been successfully implemented in European Union member states.
The program offers targeted solutions for public administration, the private sector, and young people.
The project is built on three main pillars:
- Digital Municipalities: A multilingual mobile and web application system will be established to support the digital development of cross-border sub-regions. The development aims to make local services easily accessible through digital means, beyond the state administrative structure.
- Digital Business (e-Incubator House): A digital platform will be created to support micro and small enterprises, providing comprehensive support, for example in the form of grant consultancy, project management, accounting, taxation, and auditing services. In addition, special emphasis is placed on developing financial cybersecurity to ensure that local businesses can operate safely in the digital space.
- Young Digital Citizen: Training and mentoring programs designed for young people aim to increase cybersecurity awareness. The goal is for them to become active and conscious shapers of the digital world, rather than merely users.
The project contributes to the digital integration of Zakarpattia, the strengthening of cross-border cooperation, and the enhancement of social cohesion and economic stability. By transferring modern digital tools and knowledge, it seeks to achieve long-term sustainable development in the region.
